Challenge
One of our clients, a well-established IT company based in Milan, secured a contract with a major Italian supermarket chain. The client was tasked with developing and implementing an innovative software platform to coordinate supplier orders, warehouse management, and cash flow, while ensuring seamless integration with the client’s existing accounting system.
However, the client faced two significant challenges:
- A lack of specific technical expertise required for the project.
- Tight profit margins dictated the need to keep project costs as low as possible.
Solution
We provided two highly qualified Indian engineers with the required qualifications who came to Italy for a month to coordinate the project guidelines with the Italian team and to align with the objectives.
After two months of collaboration in Italy, the two engineers returned to our headquarters in Mumbai and formed a team of six specialists that the project required. The design work, coordinated directly by the two specialists and shared in real time with the Italian team, lasted four months.
Once the development was completed, the two lead engineers returned to Italy and spent two months on-site with the end client, ensuring smooth deployment and full integration of the new system with the supermarket chain’s existing IT infrastructure.
Result
The project was successfully delivered, meeting all technical and functional requirements.
